About Us
A little about us and our beach cottage...
We're so happy that you're considering our beach cottage for your ocean side vacation. We bought this cottage with the beach in mind and we love it so much that, truly, we wanted to share our joy with others. Marybeth grew up with summers at the Delaware shore beaches (while Joe grew up near the always chilly "lobster waters" of the New England coast) and has such fond memories that we brought our children to the beach year after year. Now our kids are grown with families of their own and the tradition of loving the beach and the people here continues. We hope you will share our love of Ocean View, Bethany Beach, and all the surrounding areas, the full time residents, our wonderful guests, sunrises on the beach and sunsets on the bay!
We've found that the community of Savannah's Landing is a lovely place to vacation. The community has a very nice pool and tennis / pickle-ball courts, water and woods, walking distance to a family run diner and a world-class seafood restaurant. Biking to the beach is easy as is a short drive to the public parking. There's even a trolley that costs 25 cents to ride!
